PawTrak
PawTrak is a B2C pet tracking platform that combines QR technology, digital pet profiles, communication tools, subscriptions, and e-commerce functionality. Pet owners complete a two-step registration process by creating their personal account and registering their pet’s information. Each registered pet receives a QR-coded collar connected to its digital profile. If the pet becomes lost, the finder can scan the QR code using a mobile device. The scan opens the pet’s public profile, where the finder can view relevant information, communicate securely with the owner, and share the pet’s current location. The owner receives an email alert when a finder sends a message. This creates a direct and organized recovery process without requiring the owner’s personal contact information to be displayed publicly. The platform also includes an online store for smart collars and pet accessories, along with subscription plans that provide access to additional tracking and support features.
